Merry Christmas!!!

Hi everyone!! Dani Donner here wishing you a very Merry Christmas! And also bringing a quick page featuring Crate Paper Sleigh Ride and Pink Paislee City Sidewalks collections:

I know it is a late post, but I finished this page today (the picture was taken this morning) and I really wanted to bring something fresh to the blog today.

The cool part of this page is the presents strip, I created it by stacking the chipboard presents from Sleigh Ride.

Super easy and very quick, perfect for these busy holidays' afternoons.

Thanks for stopping by,

Dani Donner

Chloes Stem Card Set!

Hello!  It's only a few days until Christmas!  Are you running around still shopping?  Or are you like  me working on projects like crazy??  Today I have one of the projects that I have made this week to share!  I decided to make the teacher card sets!  I had to make 5!!!  I find the teachers always love my card sets!  While I do enjoy making card sets I do not enjoy making them when I hardly have any time to make them! So what's a girl to do?  Use products that you can work fast with!  Die cuts are super quick so I used the Memory Box Die Chloe's Stem with My Mind's Eye's The Sweetest Thing Bluebell papers!

I stamped the Newspaper background by Hero arts in the mid tone wet cement, than added a strip of pp and die cut chloes stem with some paper from the collection!  This card set didn't take too long to make!  Am I the only one who sometimes find coming up with the idea for the set what takes the most time??  :>

Well that's it from me until after Christmas so I am sending you Christmas wishes!  Hope you enjoy this special time with your family!

Baby Girl Banner

Hello friends, Becky here with you today. I spent this past weekend making a banner for my friend who has a new baby granddaughter. I spent so much time working on it that I thought I would share it with you.

I used the Birthday Bash Cricut cartridge to make the banners, and the Storybook cartridge to make the medallions and letters.
I used American Crafts cardstock and a whole bunch of random scraps from my stash to suit the colours that my friend wanted in the banner.

I decorated with the Martha Stewart Monarch punch, as well as some misc flowers, buttons, jewels and pearls.

I tied clusters of ribbons in between each letter to hid the ribbon that strings each letter together.

and here are some close ups of each letter so you can better see the details...

That is all for me today, thanks so much for stopping by. Don't forget that if there is anything you are looking for that you don't see on the website, just ask Kristy.

Merry Christmas
~Becky

Ho Ho Holiday Day 6

Well it's my turn to post another Holiday tag.  I only have one to tag to post today. I thought I'd have a little fun and turn the tag on it's side and put a tiny banner across it.  Again I used a plain manilla tag from Staples

Four tags!

Hello it's Anita gain with more tags to share!  I am really enjoying this week!  Have you wrapped all your gifts yet?  Me not so much, that would require having finished buying them all, although I am more than half way done!  :>  Today my tags are super easy!  I am sure you have some sets that have tags in them like me, I noticed today that my Hero Arts Basic Grey Set Happy Holidays had a tag in it so I decided to heart emboss it with white powder onto paper from Echo Park's Very Merry Collection!  These are easy tags so I made 4!

I added some buttons and twine from this Christmas Doodle Twine Collection, it's perfect for Christmas cards and tags!

Hope you have a great weekend!  :>  We have a busy Sunday but thankfully not tonight or Saturday!  :>  I plan to get started on wrapping gifts tonight!  :>

Leaping Reindeer Tag!

Hello it's Anita and I am really happy to be here and share a tag during our Ho Ho Tag Week!  :>  I hope you've been inspired all week with the tags we have been sharing because I have!  Today I have a tag to share using Memory Box's Leaping Deer die and Echo Parks Very Merry Christmas Collection!

I cut the paper from the pad to 2 3/4 inchs by 3 1/2 inches and than I rounded the corners, heat embossed the Joy sentiment from a Hero Arts set added another strip of patterned paper and than some lace!  Popped the deer up with foam adhesive by Scrapbook adhesive.  Turned him into Rudolf with the red gem!  :>

Well I think this is my second tag made this Holiday season, only a dozen or so left to go!  I shall be back tomorrow with another!

Ho Ho Holiday Tag Week: Day 3

When I heard we were doing a tag challenge I was thrilled!!  I love tags, love to make them and love to pin them!! I cannot get enough!  So what a thrill to have an entire week of TAGS!  Ok I'll calm down now and show you what I've been working on...

I bought a big box of manilla tags from Staples about 2 years ago and I"m still using the same box.  Although I only have about 10 left. :)  Because there's little space to decorate I tend to use up my scraps.  I love being able to use up all those little bits of pretty paper I can't bare to throw out.

Materials
Paper-Winter Wonderland-My Mind's Eye
Stamps-Holly Jolly-There She Goes clear stamps
Punches:Snowflakes and holly-Martha Stewart

If you see something you just have to have let Kristy know and she'll get it in for you :)

Ho Ho Holiday Tag Week: Day 2

Ho Ho Ho! It's Becky back again with some more Holiday tags to share. Today I've made some quick and easy gift tags. I used my Cricut Expression and the Simply Charmed cartridge to cut out some cute stockings and mittens out of some fun patterned papers from the Echo Park This & That Christmas Collection.

I stamped a little to: and from: on the top of the tag and tied some brown bakers twine in the corner.

They are so quick and easy to make with the die cut machine, I made 6 of each!

Thanks for stopping by today. Remember we are sharing holiday tags every day this week so check back daily for more inspiration!

Have a great day!

Ho Ho Holiday Tag Week: Day 1

Hi Friends!  The Scrapbooking Cafe DT has something special to share with you this week. All week long we are going to be sharing Christmas Tag ideas with you!

I'm first up and I have a fun tag to share with you that I made using Echo Park's This & That Christmas Collection

I started off with a piece of white cardstock that I embossed with a stripy folder. You could use the Candy Cane embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I layered bits and pieces from the Echo Park kit on top. I added a die cut of the smaller doily from the Doily Duo by Die-namics

I finished off the tag with some red bakers twine, some buttons and a big fun bow! You could use this tag on a card, a layout or use it as a gift tag on a special package...it could even hang on your tree like an ornament!

That is all for me today, but make sure you stop by every day this week for some great taggy inspiration just in time for the holiday.

Merry Christmas!

WIld Blooms Thank you!

Hello!  It's Anita here today with a card to share! We are right into December and today I am taking a break with Holiday cards and have a Thank You card to share!  My card uses the Wild Blooms die by Memory Box, paper from Basic Grey's What's Up line.  I love playing with Memory Box dies and am so happy with how this card turned out:

I also used some baker's twine, which is one of my favorites to use!  :>  Hope this card has inspired you!  Do you hand out thank you cards after Christmas for gifts?  I always intend to but have  not got very far with that!  :>

Sully says...

Happy Monday friends! My 2 year old son has become quite the little chatterbox. He is now starting to speak in short sentences and some of the things he comes out with are just down right hilarious! I wanted to have a way to remember all the funny things he says for the future so I whipped up a quick little mini album/notebook so we have a place to record them.

I covered two 4x6 pieces of chipboard with patterned paper and embellies from the This & That Charming collection by Echo Park to make the front and back covers, and I cut some white cardstock to make the inside pages. I plan to bind the book with the Bind it All from Zutter, but I have to borrow it from a friend.

Well that is it for me today, quick and fun!

Have a great week!
